North Water Quick Haul Harness

Sometimes the load you need to carry doesn't fit neatly into what a standard harness was designed for, and that's exactly where these come in.

The North Water Quick Haul Harness Extenders are a pair of extension straps built to mate directly with the Quick Haul Harness, expanding its carrying capacity for oversized and awkwardly shaped loads. Creek boats, square or rectangular hard cases, and other odd-shaped gear that won't fit a standard harness configuration become manageable carries with the right extensions in place. Each strap adds 50" to the diameter, and for truly large items, two sets can be combined for even greater reach.

For paddlers doing portages on Canadian wilderness routes, running shuttles, or moving gear around a put-in or take-out, having the ability to get a large, unwieldy load onto your back securely and comfortably makes a real practical difference. The extenders keep the ergonomic carrying advantages of the Quick Haul Harness intact regardless of what you're hauling, so you're not improvising with straps that weren't designed to work together.
