The Making of a Great America: Made In Trump's Image

This book is the third volume in “The Making of a Great America” series. The first book in the series, “The Making of a Great America Where the Founding Fathers and the Church Fell Short,” is more of a historical account of the handling of racism by political and religious leaders from the Founding Fathers to the present. The second book, “The Making of a Great America Uprooting the Spirit of Racism,” explores more of racism's spiritual aspects and ties racism in America to specific manifestations and faces. It has a heavy emphasis on the roots of racism within America’s system of policing. This book primarily targets the evangelical community and its direct and indirect support of racism. In it, I share what it’s like as a born-again Christian and life-long black Republican voter to be forced to reconcile support of my party, my faith, and their tolerance of racism directed at people of color. This book will also help the reader understand that the divide that exists between black and white evangelicals is historical, persistent, and very much centered on issues of race. This book, as did the books before it, asserts that unless the leaders of the evangelical body of Christ, currently white evangelicals, do not shift their attitudes and stance on matters of race that they will lose their mantle of leadership in America. As the mantle shifts to other leaders in the body of Christ, a spiritual vacuum will be created that will harm the Christian witness in America and around the world. Read more
